Device Management
SYS provides devices for both staff and the student body. All devices are managed through a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution to ensure that groups of staff have an automatic deployment of necessary apps, and managed devices remain secure. SYS also supports school staff with professional development around the new devices to ensure an easy transition and to inform staff of features that will help make their job easier. At any given time, the inventory management system can report on the location, status, and assigned user of any Chromebook in the school. This level of reporting aids in anticipating trends such as a need to order additional devices or to take additional steps for device recovery.
We stock NL7 Chromebooks for students, and Macbook Airs for staff and faculty. Each Chromebook in our fleet has an expected life cycle of three years, at which point we will replace the device for a new model. Our current fleet of Chromebooks is ______ (include #).
